ARTEMIA - Indispensable Feed for Aquatic Animal

Artemia is a genus of aquatic crustaceans known as brine shrimp. Artemia, the only genus in the family Artemiidae, has changed little externally since the Triassic period. Artemia populations are found worldwide in inland saltwater lakes, but not in oceans. Artemia are able to avoid cohabiting with most types of predators, such as fish, by their ability to live in waters of very high salinity (up to 25%).
The ability of the Artemia to produce dormant eggs, known as cysts, has led to extensive use of Artemia in aquaculture. The cysts may be stored for long periods and hatched on demand to provide a convenient form of live feed for larval fish and crustaceans.

1. Description:
Artemia is a scientific name of a Crustacean species, hasing wide salt taking (from few thousand to 250 ‰).
It often lives in the natural Sea or in the saltwater ponds. Even, it can live in freshwater environment
thanks to it's excellent viability.

It's popular name is Artemia or Brine Shrimp. Beside, called is Urzeitkrebse, Salinenkrebse, Salzkrebse, Feenkrebse…

2. Main Benefit: The most sublime Feed for both the salt-water and fresh-water Fish & Shrimp which nourished in the
aquariums or industrial ponds, specially, it's systs (eggs) is used for the baby/larvae Fish & Shrimp to help the Aquatic
Animal to improve disease prevention, fast growth….So, it considered is one of indispensable products for
the fisheries/aquatic hatchery.
